Where Storytelling Becomes Stewardship
I didn’t grow up with a camera in my hand. It was outside, making the most of open land in Texas, learning to pay attention because there wasn’t much else to do. Over time, that sense of focus turned into a skill: noticing patterns, movement, and moments others overlooked.
When I first learned to shoot, it wasn’t about chasing images. It was about capturing what I already knew how to see.
Today, Jayce Parkey Photography is built on that foundation: a focus on the real, the unforced, and the meaningful.
Through photography, storytelling, and conservation-focused branding, I help lodges and conservation partners reveal the deeper narratives that connect guests not just to a place, but to its purpose.
Wildlife photography opened the door, yet spending time training and working alongside guides, conservationists, and NGOs in Southern Africa showed me the bigger story: Conservation isn’t something that happens on the edge of luxury — it’s the reason these places exist at all.
That's why I moved beyond photography alone.
Today, I work with lodges, NGOs, and conservation leaders to design guest experiences and brand identities that put conservation at the center — not as a marketing tagline, but as the foundation guests feel from the moment they arrive.
Photography remains the entry point — but it's not the end goal. The real work is building connection, meaning, and legacy.
If you’re building a lodge, leading conservation work, or reshaping how humans experience wild places, we share the same goal. Let’s create inspiring stories, and futures, worth protecting.
